You can search for one or more words - set the match option to all to retrieve pages containing all your words or any to match against any one of them. Alternatively, set the match option to Boolean to build more sophisticated queries. The basic Boolean functions are:

  • AND (e.g. Owl AND Nightingale) retrieves only pages containing both terms
  • OR (e.g. Owl OR Nightingale) retrieves pages containing either of the terms
  • NOT (e.g. Owl NOT Nightingale) retrieves pages containing the first term which do not contain the second.
